for the person above me, do you know how they test condoms? In the US, each condom is electronically tested for holes and defects. Also, condom manufacturers sample each lot of finished packaged condoms and visually examine them for holes using a water leak test. Condom manufacturers also tests lots for physical characteristics using the air burst test and the tensile (strength) test. so you're telling me they're not doing what they're supposed to do? and you're telling me that your testing of condoms are more precise and accurate than theirs? if 17% of condoms were defective then trojan and lifestyles will go out of business, HIV will not penetrate a condom, the retard above me probably used their teeth to open up the package, therefore there were holes, either that or he/she has long finger nails.Why do people think HIV can pass through latex condoms?
because it can !condoms r never 100% i did an experiment with different condoms from different brands n i poured water in the condoms 17% of those condoms had holes that werent noticeable until the water i poured in it drained out .........condom packages n doctors even tell u condoms r not 100% effective
I assume they think that because it's true. A condom can break or have a hole, therefore HIV can definately be contracted dispite using a condom.
This is rare, granted, but it is possible.
Adina: That's just a lie. HIV can't go through a latex condom normally. Only very unsafe condoms (not old, but something like lambskin) don't protect against HIV. The lie part being only a few of the newer condoms, as most condoms are latex... by FAR.
Sex education class at school. The Aids virus is very small and only a few of the newer condoms can prevent it from going through the condom. so it is not a sure guarantee that you will not get AIDS.
