My daughter put latex paint in the kitchen disposal. how do i get it out?

my daughter was cleaning up after painting her bedroom and she did it in the kitchen sink. now my disposal won't turn on. I shone a flashlight down the drain and there's latex paint stuck in the sides. how do I get it out?My daughter put latex paint in the kitchen disposal. how do i get it out?
Take a wood paint stick and rotate the blades with the switch off.


The latex just dried and its freezing the blades.

Latex paint can be cleaned with soap and hot water. There may be something else stuck in the disposal. Take a wooden broom handle and push down on the blades to try to unlock the blades, you can feel them release, remove the broom handle and restart the disposal again, there may also be a reset button on the disposal.
