I painted my kitchen cupboards with latex, on latex (by mistake). It scratches off easily. What do I do?

it sounds like you didn't prime the cabinets first. if you just painted(in the last week or so) the paint MAY adhere better with time. Paint takes up to two weeks to fully cure. untill then, it will be much softer and come off easier. if you painted more that two weeks ago, remove the paint, scuff sand the surface, an them prime and paint.. I would still suggest latex, as it is easier to touch up in the future...I painted my kitchen cupboards with latex, on latex (by mistake). It scratches off easily. What do I do?
take the paint off and paint over again using different kind of paintI painted my kitchen cupboards with latex, on latex (by mistake). It scratches off easily. What do I do?
take it off slowly or u might have to start over
You didn't put the correct primer on first. You need a specific primer if you are going to go from oil based to latex paint.

You need to strip the paint off, sand and prime with the correct primer, then paint again with the correct latex enamel.

Personally, if I were going to go this much trouble, I'd use oil based paint.
Strip it off or get new cabinets!
strip them and then paint with oil based, or get new cabinets
sand lt down and paint lt a different color
Take all the latex off and start again with some good old fashioned paint!
Take it off and repaint it
I'll scratch off your latex
