don't use oil on water based paint all you will have is an oily mess...use WATER and plenty of it....get a carpet cleaner and make sure you get all the water out of the carpet...pretreat with some spray, like Woolite-Oxi...just run the carpet cleaner over and over the spot till it comes out ( I own my own carpet cleaner and I get everything out of my carpets with it, paint, pet stains, oil,
wood stain...sand, I live in FL...)How do you get dried latex paint out of carpet?
Try linseed oil. You can find it at your local hardware/pain store. How do you get dried latex paint out of carpet?
Take a paint scraper and brush the paint area. If there are still larger areas that you can not break up, use a razor blade and carefully ';shave'; it off. Vacuum up what you break apart. Then clean the area with an Ammonia Solution - Mix one tablespoon of household ammonia per cup of water
latex is a water base paint, but if its dry then a flooring store should have a pro carpet cleaner.
i have tried lestoil ,full strength , u have to let it sit for a while, then take a stiff brush, and lots of water to remove the paint
latex paint is water based paint, any type of floor cleaner should do the trick. if that doesnt work there are lots of slovents that will, i would go to your local ACE hardware store and ask about that
