What happens if youre allergic to latex during intercourse?

u will get a rash and it may burn usually it isnt serious enough to seek medical attention and NEVER double sheath because the friction could cause rips in the condom try lambskin condoms or if ur in a serious relationship talk about other means of birth controlWhat happens if youre allergic to latex during intercourse?
If you have a rash, get medical help.

But if you're just asking....

Birth control is always an option.

You can also use polyurethane (male/ female) condoms, which are made from a different kind of plastic. Or, you can try ';double-sheathing,'; by first putting a lambskin condom on the penis and then a latex one over that, or the opposite, depending on which partner is latex sensitive. What happens if youre allergic to latex during intercourse?
I personally am allergic to latex and didn't find out until having intercourse with a latex condom.

From personal experience from a girls point of view it caused me to have symptoms such as burning, swelling, and itching. It was not a pleasant situation.

If you or your partner are allergic to latex you can use lamb skin condoms or polyurethane condoms. Trojan as well as Durex provide latex alternative condoms. They can be more expensive but definitely are worth it. The polyurethane are only a few dollars more but the lamb skin are much more expensive. I have never used lamb skin... the idea gives me the creeps and I don't enjoy the idea of it being an animal byproduct. You can find both at a local pharmacy.
