Can capsaicin penetrate latex gloves?Or should I use nitrile? Other?

I apply this stuff at my job at a PT clinic. Recently I started wearing contact lenses too...I think you can see the problem here! What would be the most protective glove material? Can capsaicin penetrate latex?Can capsaicin penetrate latex gloves?Or should I use nitrile? Other?
No, capsaicin cannot penetrate latex, but to be safe, you'll probably want to go with a higher thickness (above 4 mil) of latex glove.





Nitrile would be fine also. Most medical and lab environments use nitrile these days, as some people are allergic to latex.
