Why do tatto artist always wear balck latex gloves when tattoing a client?

They think they are cool and that is all there is to that. The majority of us - yes MAJORITY of us do not wear black gloves simply because we want to monitor how full of ink they are getting so we can change them regularly.





Many of us now use nitrile or other non-latex gloves these days so you will see a lot of blue ones out there. Latex breaks down with petroleum products that most of us use during the tattoo process.





If they are clear, they are likely vinyl. We only use vinyl for prepping and cleaning up the room. They should not be used for tattooing.Why do tatto artist always wear balck latex gloves when tattoing a client?
They wear protective gloves (usually black) to keep any oils or things that could cause problems on their skin from getting onto the client they are tattooing. Part of the cleanliness factor and protical. Would you want someone tattooing you with bare hands? Ew, not me.





-Vice versa as well, over all protection from bloodborne and skin related diseases.


-It's just the color of choice, as some have said black stops excess ink from getting through the gloves and onto their skin. The color doesn't matter really, darker colors are more common usually.Why do tatto artist always wear balck latex gloves when tattoing a client?
They wear black gloves for a mystical surrealistic atmosphere and so the light of heart wouldn't get sick at the sight of blood, after all they are poking holes in your skin.
In case any thing happens like a cut to protect from if they have any type of dieases including HIV or AIDS and just sanitary reasons
ppl i think this man knows y they where the damn latex glove but y black probly to hide the blood so if u see his hands u wont freak cause white it will be noticable
they wear latex gloves because they do not want to come in contact with the persons blood and the color is a mater of personal choice...there are all sorts of colors available in latex gloves

but they are dealing with blood

A)Not to come into contact with the clients blood,


B) Blood wont show up on black gloves, as some people hate the sight,


C)Health And hygiene
they don't, mine doesn't, they use normal white gloves... he says the reason for this is the black gloves are little more expensive and they are more slippery
again, HE KNOWS WHY THEY WEAR THE GLOVES!!!!!!!!! THAT'S NOT HIS QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!





he's asking why they always wear BLACK gloves. and the fact is, they don't. all of the artists that have done work on me have used regular, non-colored gloves. the only person I've had use black gloves was my piercer. so, they don't always wear the black ones. you just happen to have only seen ones that do.
my tattoo artist used white...totally freaked me being it was my first tattoo, which i got 2 days ago btw : )

I work at a tatto shop and we wear clear


most people do that becuase they dont want the chance of getting ink on themselves like there actual skin becuase the black ones are thicker adn the white/clear ones are thinner
so that they dont get blood on them or in a cut that they dont realize they have
So you can't see the infections they have on their hands.
so they can put one finger in the stink
Ive only had 1 wear gloves period and they were light blue.
