When glazing kitchen cabinets, can you use a latex paint glaze over an oil based paint?

yea so long as you sand it first (make sure its not so old it could have lead), although if you have loads of oil layers its usually best to stick with another coat of oil based paint

ive found best results with priming it with latex first as well let it dry for a day or more though, worked well for my patio furniture, then paint with you normal latex paintWhen glazing kitchen cabinets, can you use a latex paint glaze over an oil based paint?
Yes, if the oil is not gloss. NOTHING will adhere to gloss. If it is, sand lightly to roughen up the surface, then prime, then paintWhen glazing kitchen cabinets, can you use a latex paint glaze over an oil based paint?
Sorry, it won't work. Laytex paint will bubble up %26amp; peel off. It is best to just go ahead %26amp; use an oil base paint.
