How can i waterproof latex paint?

you get a clear lacquer and let it cure .. talk to the people at the paint store for advice on which kind. I think I used MinWax.How can i waterproof latex paint?

Latex paint is waterproof once it dries. Just try washing it out of your clothes.
This depends on where you use it. I just completed antiquing my kitchen cabinets. I used a coat of polyerthene. Use a thin coat- a little goes a long way. i will be able to wipe down the cabinets. This will add shine. If your paint is on wall and your wanting to be able to wipe it down then you need to select your finish. Satin is good for most rooms and is more wipable then eggshell (although I like the finish). Semi-gloss for trim- even for bathrooms and childrens rooms-your call. I did the cabinets in my last house in high gloss due to they were white and I'm the only female in the house. Worked well. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and they have samples of finishes for you to look at.
