Are latex mattresses any good compared to spring mattresses?

They are too warm for me and could be very unpleasant if two hot people were sleeping together, and I am not referring to any activity.





I have a pocket sprung deep mattress with a layer of memory foam on top and that sure is warm. My electric blanket is redundant now and I feel this is the best option of all the mattresses on sale. One manager of a bedding shop actually told me that the latex beds were not the best choice.Are latex mattresses any good compared to spring mattresses?
They can be good, especially if you're allergic. They are a bit heavier and less 'airy' than spring mattresses, it is really what you prefer. What i personally dislike about latex mattresses is that they tend to get very warm.
