Latex paint is worthless on decks. In fact most products are worthless on decks. For a while, Consumer Reports stopped testing deck products because none of them held up well enough to be worthy of testing. But the latex deck products tend to be the worst.Why would the latex paint on my deck railing bubble in the rain.its been 5days to dry wood persure treated?
Did you not paint the treated lumber with primer paint first?
sounds like you used the wrong kind of paint and possible no primer....to paint treated stuff i pressure wash the wood and let it dry then primer it with a good exterior primer and paint it with a good exterior paint.....get the paint from a REAL paint store not lowes home depot or walmart their stuff is overpriced junk
Did you have a clear coat on it? Without it, tiny holes can form in the paint and water can seep in anyway and bubble under the paint.
