lacquer thinner will remove the paint. the resulting stain can be removed in one of two ways. there is a product called FOLEX that usually works. FOLEX is different in that it goes into the pad to break down the stain there. Spray until soaked,scrub with stiff plastic brush and let dry completley (couple hours), then vacumn with carpet vacumn. if unsuccesful try placing a damp towel on the stain and put a warm iron on it for ten minutes. this will transfer the stain into the towel.good luck...(FOLEX is at bigger food stores)How do you get dried latex paint out of carpet?
alcohol dissolves latex paint, but pink is a hard color to totally get rid of especially if the carpet is white.
