In LATEX, how to make included .ps format files appear in landscape mode?

I added a gaussian curve (plotted using gnuplot) in latex doc using epsfig packege, but in the .dvi document, its looking 90 degree rotated.(In portrait mode, ie gaussian looks like a %26lt; instead of ^) I tried decreasing the width, but even with smaller size, its appearing the same. How to make the graph appear in proper way?In LATEX, how to make included .ps format files appear in landscape mode?
Does this command help?

unix%26gt; ghostview -landscape landscapedoc.ps

Site I found it at:
