Some latex paint got on solid oak stainedcupboards. i've tried the normal stuff - no luck. ideas appreciated!

I have been it the paint industry for 30 years . First take a terry cloth rag with water as hot as you can stand, let it sit for a moment and lightly scrub.(don't let water sit on oak for too long)


didn't work? there is a product called ';Goof Off'; that will take off dried latex paint. they also have a water base version. Be very very careful using this product it can also take off the finish on the cupboards. the water base version is not as harmful to the surface but don't let either sit for too long. hope this works for you.Some latex paint got on solid oak stainedcupboards. i've tried the normal stuff - no luck. ideas appreciated!
well as i would try de-natured alcohol,you can also try a mild stripper,goof-off,strip ease,or just very lighty scrape the area of paint,but be sure not to break the surface underneath,hence,scrape very lightlySome latex paint got on solid oak stainedcupboards. i've tried the normal stuff - no luck. ideas appreciated!
Very light hand sanding. This has worked for me with great results. You may need to touch up with a poly stain if necessary.
Use a heat gun and scrape it off.
Do not put latex over oil stain. You have to put a primer on first then you can put on the latex or put on the oil paint. Or use paint remover, then put on the stain of your choice.
I say scrape it off, then sand it with a fine sand paper.
